"I have a hole, and you have a pole, so let's join them."

Welcome,

To the land created by gods and handed by men. In ancient days, Japan was called "Wa" or "Wakoku". Through the years people had been trying to rule Wakoku one by one, gathering power with violence and avaricious acts. The battle continued, and with every new heir that took up his father's duties, the link became weaker and soon enough the god’s power left Wakoku to its end. From east to west, no hope could be found. The great people of Wa, that once shone with pride, fell apart. Isolated, the feeling of anger and frustration grew stronger. They prayed for better days and hope that they once had. In these dark times a boy was born, a boy that would save them all…

The Rise of Oda Nobunaga

Oda Nobunaga, born 1534, was born with only a small bit of property, but like many other daimyo of the era, Nobunaga rose to power mostly through his military prowess. Ruthlessly taking over his neighbours, he controlled the majority of his province by the age of 25. With a greedy and sharp mind, his view grew bigger and as well his kingdom. One by one the lords of other province fell during Nobunaga’s acts of war. People of Wa joined his dreadful army after surrender or they’ll face the dark face of death. Time went by and soon enough Oda Nobunaga ruled the greatest provinces of Wakoku. He married, got children that someday will take over his kingdom. People of Wa, from east to west knew about the Nobunaga family and some of them feared the future though most of the members of Nobunaga shone in glory. Rebellious groups had started gathering in secret so they one day could defeat the great Nobunaga family. Are you one of those who’ll follow the great Nobunaga in his death or laugh at his head on a pole? It’s your decision.
